hi! i was wondering if anybody can help... in windows xp
whenever i try to hide the my documents icon from the
desktop, why is it always showing in windows explorer
(winkey+e)? in windows 2000 once u hide the my documents
icon, it will never show again unless you do so.

the question here guys is... how to i remove the my
documents icon in windows explorer? is there a possible
solution with dat? i hope somebody can help me...

Try this way: at windows explorer, right click "My Document", choose
"Delete".
I don't know whether this can help. Why do you want to hide "My Document"
icon? If someone want to find your document, he can browse the hard disk to
find out.
