I'm new at this video stuff, but I'm learning to transfer my Hi8 home
vids to DVD. My first few attempts resulted in fairly good quality to
DVD but it seems the pictures are all washed out- not much color. Here
is my setup:
Using my Sony TRV-350 to transfere vids via firewire into Windows Movie
Maker 2. I'm capturing them as "High Quality Video (NTSC)." I then put
together clips and save the movie to the hard drive as DV-AVI. I then
import the DV-AVI into Sonic MyDVD to burn them to discs.
Anyway, all goes well, but the color of the finished product is not as
vibrant as the original Hi8 tapes. What gives?
