Hi. I recently launched a WIN XP app (MemoriesOnTV) that I had
successfully opened before with no problem but now it only shows up as
a running app in the Task Manager but does not display on my desktop.
I don't have this problem with other apps. Anyone have any idea what
makes this sort of thing happen? Thanks in advance.

Hi ML,
What kind of vidoe card do you have installed? Does it support multimon?
The only thing that I can think of is that possibly the app is launched and
running but it is off screen. If this is the case try the following:
1. Close all open applications
2. Launch your application
3. Press Alt + Spacebar
4. if you see a context menu open press the down arrow key and then hit
return
5. whichever side of the screen you see the mouse cursor appear on press
the arrow keys the opposite way to try and drag the app onto the desktop
Please let me know if this worked,

I want to thank you for your response, as delayed as it is. Your
solution was clever but unfortunately it did not resolve my problem.
The only context menu I got belonged to the Start Menu button. This
isn't the first time I've seen a program launch in the task manager
without a GUI, however, launching the exe in Program manager always
did the trick. Apparently the shortcut was corrupted, but not in this
case. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but no joy. Thanks again.
