I have a lot of programs that on a cold start, have to
wait for them to load which can take several minutes and
then they put their icon in the sys tray. Many of these
programs I don't need at that time and have to go to sys
tray and close them out. If needed, I can then go to the
main program lists.
How can I stop these programs from loading on start ups?
Thanks
Judy

Try the free Startup Manager
http://f2.org/archive/software/startupmgr.html

You can disable whichever programs you don't want starting up... if you want
them back, you can easily re-enable them.
