Windows update continues to give MS03-026 (823980)

Hi all,

I have installed the update for MS03-026, but I still get an update notice
to reinstall it every day or so. Is there a way to verify that I do in fact
have this install correctly and then to stop the update notice?

The history file is called "iuhist.xml" located in C:\Program =
Files\WindowsUpdate\V4.=20
This is a hidden directory, please change your view
options to show hidden files and folders.

(Control Panel > Folder Options > View)


Look in the "iuhist.xml" file for:
=20
<title>Security Update for Windows XP (823980)</title>=20

<installStatus value=3D"COMPLETE"

This would indicate that the

"Blaster Worm: Critical Security Patch for Windows XP"

was successfully installed.
