When I go into the drive through MY COMPUTER It shows the
files I want saved but says that it is a CD. It even shows
4.38 GB of free space on the CD, and when I click on write
files to CD it pulls up the CD Wizard and says that it
does not recognize the disc. I have tried both DVD+RW and
DVD-RW. I stumped!

assuming that you have a dvd writer you will have o use either a 650 (700)
mb disk or the third party software that your dvd writer came with.

Is your device capable of using both flavours of media? Have you flashed the
firmware - I had to in order for Windows to recognise my DRU-510A. I tend
not to use the native wizard though, I much prefer to use Nero or Easy CD 6.
