XP won't remember user/passwords

Hi,

I have set up my pc as a server, and I use it as my own
computer. There are 2 other PCs linked to it.

When I try to retrieve my email, using Outlook Express 6,
it forces me to re-enter my username and password, EVERY
time. Why?

after entering your password do you check the box to remember the password.
click on tools>accounts, select your account and click properties. then
check the 'servers' tab and in the username/password fields, make sure they
are entered properly and that the box "remember password" is checked.

Hi Forest,

Go to Start/Run and type in: service.msc
Scroll down to Persistant Handler and verify that the service is started.
