Major problems here while using the Roxio CD software...I
realize that this is a program that doesn't get along well
with XP, having read the knowledge base; i was working
with
the program and my whole machine just froze up. I called
up
the task manager to terminate the culprit, but couldn't
identify it among all the 'processes' shown (I'm a former
Win98SE user where that task was very simple - you just
'ended' the unresponsive program).

IS there any way to get "Easy CD creator" to work with XP
Home addition?

AND- how do you shut off the computer in
XP when everything is hung up? Basic question, I know,
but...in Win98, you just did another ctrl-alt-del and the
machine would switch off. If worse came to worse, you
pushed the power button and shut it off that way. With
this
system, that doesn't work - I actually had to UNPLUG the
machine. There must be a 'safer' way??? Many thanks!

Which version of Roxio are you using? I had version 5 on my 98 machine and
6 on my XP system....which works GREAT. I guess I really didn't answer your
question(s).
