How do I prevent Golden Palace Casino software from
starting up when I log on. I have tried firewalls,
deleting all files, Spybot, Ad-aware, and anything else I
can think of but every time I log on, there it is. Please
advise. Thanks.

did you check the options for the program to see if there is a way to stop it loading from there.

Hi

These companies are a real pain.

Try using task manager to see any unusual programs/aplications which are
running.

If found, do a search both on the hard drive and the registry and try to
eliminate them.

Also, try Internet Options and make sure that your homepage hasn't been
hijacked (replaced with another default address).

Etc etc etc

Good luck

Has anyone a solution to eliminate this most difficult and irritating
event. I've uninstalled with its provided uninstall, deleted the
casino file (which auto-loads to the hard drive), deleted cookies amd
temp files...etc..but it re-installs itself everytime star-up. I've
looked for suspicious files, ran definitve solutions for eliminating
bho (www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm). No luck!!?!!

Get Ad-aware: www.lavasoftusa.com

Install it, unzip the latest ref file
http://www.lavasoft.de/update/refs/reflist.zip to C:\Program
Files\Lavasoft\Ad-aware 6\ then run the program.

Navigate to the following registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run

In the right side pane, right click and delete any key associated with the
offending exe.
If you're not 100% certain, _do not_ delete anything.
