Need help with Video Output to TV

Hi, i need help! My display is not coming up on my TV screen, yet the sound is... what is wrong?? I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop.

Are you using s-video?
Have you enabled dual-screen viewing from within display properties?
Is the second display set to clone the first, or do you have to switch
between the two? (Probably using a 'hot key')
