Every time I start my computer the "My Documents" folder
opens automatically. Does anyone know how to turn this
off? I already checked to make sure there is nothing in
the "Start Up" folder. Please help!!

Hi Mark,

Suggestions and Checkpoints:

Go to Start/Run/control folders/View/Uncheck Restore previous folder windows
at logon.

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Change the key that reads:

C:\Windows\Syste32\Userinit.exe,C:\Windows\System3 2\Userinit.exe
To:
C:\Windows\System32\Userinit.exe

This problem can be caused by the DlDer Trojan. More information here:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.dlder.html

Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run

Look here for the program/folder in question. If listed, double click the
entry and put the full path name in quotes.
