What's the best way to back up your files?
Should you change the default location of your mail store files? The
idea being to have a constant location (that does not depend on
knowing a long hexadecimal string) to backup from?
Suggestions? Web references?
(I've been trying the MS Knowledge Base and it is way too techie for
me)

OE has a setting that allows you to change the location of the message
store: Tools> Options> Maintenance.
I like OE Backup to backup and restore OE data:

OE will NOT copy to a removable disk directly...you must fist export...then
preferably use a decent burning software to save to disk...
