Hello,
I notice the large amount of posts w.r.t. MSN Messenger in this WINDOWS
Messenger News Group.
Maybe that MSN-people do not know that there is a News-Group for their own
version of this application ?
microsoft.public.msn.messenger
Both applications are different in many ways, so let's post to the
appropriate news-groups to avoid/stop all the confusion that I have seen
here.

Since MS turned Windows Messenger into what would better be called Office
Messenger and has turned MSN Messenger into what would better be called
Personnel Messenger this NewsGroup has turned into supporting either
Messenger on XP since that corresponds to this NewsGroups Name.

Greetings,
This newsgroup is called xp.messenger -- that means any Messenger client that works on
Windows XP -- Windows Messenger or MSN Messenger.
There is absolutely no way you're going to get people to conform to a specific group, when
there's Windows Messenger, MSN Messenger and the built-in Messenger Service in Windows (that
continually is exploited).
