audio problem

Hey,
Just had a new computer made with asus motherboard and
was wondering why I would have sound through headphones
and not in my speakers attached to monitor??? I looked
for troubleshooting and didnt have anything to remedy
this. It seems since there is sound in headphones that
sound card works but maybe something should be enabled.
If anyone knows please let me know.

Where are the headphones connected and where are the speakers connected?? My
sound card (SB Live! Value) doesn't have more than mic in, line in, speakes
out front and speakers out back. (Speakers out front doubles up for
headphones)...
