opening with Realone player

I have some MP3 files that are associated with Mediaplayer and i want to
open them with RealOne Player. I can do this once by using "open with" but
they revert to Mediaplayer. How can i change this permanently?

Hi Paul

When you right click on the mp3 file select Open With>Choose Program. =
On the next screen select Realplayer - if it isn't listed you will have =
to use the Browse button to navigate to where RP is on your HD - and =
then make sure that 'Always use the selected program to open this kind =
of file' is enabled. OK your way out.

In addition to the method Will pointed out, you might like to check out the
NEW method now available in WinXP.

Go to Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs, and click Set Program Access
and Defaults.

Have you tried to reset this via RealPlayer? Under view\ preferences\
upgrade, at least in the version I have. Usually people have
difficulty keeping Real from grabbing everything.
