JVC Camera

I have a JVC digital camcorder When I first installed the
software Windows XP would ask me what I wanted to do with
the pictures any time I hooked the camera to the usb port
I had a problem with a driver from Gateway that locked up
my system and I had to reload winxp. Now the camera shows
up as a portable storage device but not a camera and I
don't get the popup window asking what to do with the
pictures when I plug it in. Is there any way to get XP
back to asking when I connect the camera ? Thanks Terry

I have a Jvc Digie Cam, and I never used the software that came with the
camera. Windows xp native software works just fine. Later on.
