I keep getting the error message: task could not run because of wrong
username or pass word.
I do supply my pass word and user name, how do I know, what user name to
use?

Hi

You can find what user name is being used by clicking on the Start =
button and then reading the name against 'Log Off'. If you are =
supplying that user name for Scheduled Tasks, then the password you are =
inputting is not correct.

Thanks, for taking the time.
But I am still totally confused.
I am using user name listed against log off and then I type in my pass word.
Still status says: incorrect user name or pass word.
I noticed, when checking scheduled task/settings, my user name is changed
like "user name/laptop"
There should be a simpler way of scheduling a simple task like defrag as it
was with Win98.

Hi

You will need to use the user name - as you are logged as - plus the =
correct password. More than that, I can't help you.
