digital camera

Hi, I have an Olympus digital camera, but when I connect it it is recognised
but can't install proper driver file?? Any ideas anyone?

Hi, Adam.

Microsoft writes Windows. Hardware makers write the drivers so their
products will work with Windows. Many drivers are on the WinXP CD-ROM, but
many other products have been introduced since that CD was produced. And
hardware makers are continually updating drivers and releasing new versions.

Have you visited the Olympus website? Most sites have a page for Tech
Support; look for something like Downloads and Drivers. Be sure that you
download drivers for WinXP. Those for Win9x/ME won't work, because those
Windows versions deal with hardware much differently.
