View Full Version : Setup default printer for every XP user on 2000 Domain

Hi,
I've setup a network with a windows 2000 server, and
windows XP pro workstations.
There are network printers on the network that have been
setup on the server eg IP_10.0.0.251 and then shared.
I install the printer on the XP workstations logged on as
administrator. eg \\Server1\Printername
When someone else logs on to the workstations the printer
is not there. It has to be installed for every user.
Is there any easy way to make the printer available to all
users that log on to the workstation without exporting and
importing registry keys.
Thanks in advance to anyone that helps, I'm sure this
problem must be a common one and easy to fix.
Regards
Warren
