Have you ?

Once again, you tell someone to do this - and this will
get them nowhere. I asked you before to find it, so I ask
you again, tell them where it is in the help file.

Help is accessed on almost all Microsoft programs by using
the F1 key (this is application sensitive) or use the HELP
menu on the top row of the window.

For your specific question...
In Outlook Express, select TOOLS/OPTIONS/Security tab,
uncheck the 4th box which will allow attachments (and
perhaps virus) to open on your computer.

I have no problems with where the uncheck is.

Did you actually read what I said to AmeCass ?

Her reply is total BS.

I just saw the last post and don't know if this part I
quoted above is yours or not.

I don't think they have it in the local help file, you have
to go to the help & support knowledge base and search for
"unable to open attachments"

Jim, you are reading it all wrong. I challenged CassAme to
find the answer in "help", since she made that dumb and
incorrect statement.

I don't need to find it, I know.

It is that fool AmeCass who needs to get her head into
gear before spouting off total rubbish. Telling the OP to
look in their helpfile is complete cobblers, and she needs
telling.

Hi,

Go to Tools/Options/Security and uncheck: Do not allow attachments...

Kelly, *please* re-read what I asked Amethyst to do.

I know what to do, but that idiot woman does not give the
correct information.
