I'm having trouble getting the internet to work on the
guest account in Win XP home using dial-up. The shortcut
to the connection is there, but I can't connect with it.
I can't seem to find anything in the administrator
internet connection settings that will allow it.

Any help would be appreciated!!

===============================
It's a security measure built-in to Windows XP, unfortunately, and it works
like this: The Guest account can use an existing connection to connect to
the Internet. But Windows XP's security restrictions forbid Guest account
users from starting or disconnecting an Internet connection.
This problem doesn't affect every computer. If you access the Internet
through a cable or DSL account, for instance, your Internet connection is
always "turned on," even if it's not being currently accessed. That lets
Guest account users surf the Web without

You can use the Fast User Switching and browse sites using guest account.
But you cannot initiate a RAS connection from Guest privilege.
