need help with down loading microsoft virtual machine

i want to go into a yahoo chat room but i get a mes.
saying i dont have Java then it tells me to go to
microsoft virtual machine to down load the latest version
i do that, restart my com. and its not there? what do i
do?

Try installing SP1. That'll
install Java.
