Involuntary Rebooting

My system keeps rebooting itself; this is error message:
EventSyste m The COM+ Event System detected a bad return
code during its internal processing. HRESULT was 8007043C
from line 44 of d:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tie r1
\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product
Support Services to report this error.
Of course Microsoft support won't deal with this because
WinXP was oem... Any help out there? Thanks.

I would run the System File Checker with the command
SFC /scannow
from Start > Run to find out if this helps. If no, you may have to
reinstall Windows: "How to Perform an In-Place Upgrade
(Reinstallation) of Windows XP"
