When I connect my camcord to my computer (USB) I can get my still pictures but when I try to capture video it tells me no device is detected..I'm very new to all this.I don't know if I need to install something or have the right stuff to do it.I'm lost.
Thank-You Casper

The USB connection is for transfer of still images, as you've found out.
If you want to transfer video/audio, you'll need a firewire cable connecting
your camcorder to a firewire port on your PC.
