Hi all, I am about to wipe my HD out so I can install XP
fresh. I backed up everything I could think of.. All my
Old settings and All my favorites and pictures. Is there
anything I should do before I reformat the HD?

Help me out here just to make sure I aint missing nothing.

I want to just create a startup disk so I can do the fdisk
in Dos... Is this alright with XP.. I am running Win ME
right now... Can I load XP win I fdisked in DOS???

Thanks for the help

Kevin

Kevin,

Use the Windows XP CD to format the drive and do a clean install. You dont
require the boot disks anymore.

Refer the XP Clean install guide here:
