i am trying to download a file that a friend sent me.
Looks like microsoft office Power Point is needed seeing
that it's a slide show made by PP. The thing is, i only
have microsoft works on my laptop, and its not reading
the file.....shouldn't microsoft office files be able to
be readable in Microsoft works? How can i do so?

Joy,

You need to install MS Office - Powerpoint to open, edit that PPT file. If
you just want to view the ppt (cant modify/edit it), use the Microsoft
PowerPoint Viewer. Download available from:
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/Ppview97.aspx
