Error iexplore.exe Code: 0xc0000005

I get an error message asking me to send an error report
everytime I try and startup internet explorer. Internet
explorer works still however through windows explorer. It
just won't open or even start when I click on the Launch
Internet Explorer icon on my desktop. Will I have to
reformat my comp or download a file??
