When I try to upgrade Mcafee, during installation of the
upgrade I get a script error msg that shows like this:

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line: 298
Char: 3
Error: Object required: 'gobjReg'
Code: 0
URL: mcp://C:\DOCUME~1\KEVINF~1\LOCALS~1
\Temp\MCAC348.tmp|vsoins.ui::default.htm

Anyone know how I should go about fixing this problem?

THanks.

check whether any spyware are installed in your system

use antispyware tools from
www.lavasoftusa.com

or from

http://www.webattack.com/get/adaware.shtml

If the problem persists, download the patch from the URL given below:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/msninvestor/patch/1.0/win98/en-us/mcr
epair.exe
