Machine boots on its own !

I have WINXP-PRO-SP1. 90-100 minutes after I turn it off,
the machine boots on its own ! No virus present. Checked
all routine settings in XP. ALl fine .. but .. automatic
booting still on. PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

This problem occurs if the system is pinged by any other system on net. This
can happen if you are constantly connected to Internet for example via
cable modem.

Check for the wake on LAN feature in BIOS and in the properties of the
network card/ modem in the device manager.
