Hi everyone,
I'm not sure how it got there, but there is this new
search bar next to the address bar that I can't seem to
get rid of. I can remove it from the window I'm using, but
as soon as I open a new one, it's back! How can I remove
it for good?

Try downloading Bazooka adware and spyware scanner. It detects keyloggers,
trojans, dialers and more. I recently tried this and it works great. It
walks you thru the removal (if no removal tool is available) and gives you
step by step instructions for removing all registry keys and folders.

It's also free! Here are a few things it found on my system: My Search
Bar, Gator, My Way Search Bar
