Looks like you are going to have to reinstall XP.

Office 2000 had too many integrated files that tore up XP when you deleted
it using Eraser2k.

Next time use the Add Remove programs that comes with XP.

If you have a retail version of XP, you can do a Repair using the XP CD,
Boot with the XP CD and do an install, going thru the various windows until
you pass the EULA agreement, and then selecting Repair.
This will save programs already installed by you.

You're pushing the wrong "R". At that point, you should just go ahead
and tell it to install Windows. As the last poster mentioned, after you
agree to the Eula agreement, you will have a choice between a clean
install or a "Repair" install. That's where you pick the repair
install.

No. You cannot copy files from your other PC. You will definitely hose
your system if you do this. Try the Repair Install as suggested and if
that doesn't work, you will need to do a format and clean install. Here
are links to information on both types of installations:

http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm - Repair Install
http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html - Clean Install

Good luck,

Malke
