my desktop gone black and white!!

my desktop suddenly changed the colour to some kind of
black and white,all the icon still there but cannot see
what icon and cannot read[i.e. internet explorer]the
whole screen was in FUNNY colour!!could u please tell me
what's happening??

Need more information please, how did the problem start? What happens when
you restart the PC?
