Hibernate

Hello,

I am using XP Home. Often, when I restart the computer after hibernating, I
click on a program button on the taskbar and it does not restore the
program. Or I click on the Start Menu and it does not open. I have to open
it with <ctrl><esc>. After doing this then I can click on a program button
and it will restore.

Can anyone offer some help here?

Yes, an optical mouse too, but the same thing happened when I used a PS2
mouse.
