When I first log on there is a message that tells me to
go to my event viewer to see what the error is. I have
no idea how to access my event viewer or what it is or
where it is. Can you please help?

Click Start | Run | and type "Eventvwr"

Go to control panel>admin tools>event viewer. It records all errors which
occur during computer operation.
