I ran the XP upgrade advisor. It lists a bunch of programs that are
not Windows XP compatible. Does this mean that there is no chance they
will run in compatibility mode, or that they do not run in XP
"regular". Does any one have any experience?

Thanks,
Ron

Ron;
Maybe, maybe not, contact the manufacturer of the applications for
details.
They will most likely work.

In any event, uninstall, not just disable, anything Upgrade Advisor
has issues.
Be sure to uninstall any antivirus application and as well as restore
programs such as Go-Back.
