Receiving images from other webcams on yahoo messenger

I just bought a brand new Windows Editions xp and hooked
my cam to it and it sends images out fine to my
girlfriend but every time i try to receive her webcam I
click yes and it says," Using incorrect version software.
Please update software and i'm lost please help me figure
out what to do .
