View Full Version : After installing Yahoo Companion, can't see icons...(read on)

After installing Yahoo Companion, I can't see it's toolbar icons.
Sometimes, I also can't see any images inside the browser. It's not
very consistent. I don't see any of the images in Yahoo Mail, except
for some ads sometimes. Other sites' images are also not download ( I
just see the place holders).

The following didn't seem to help:

1- rebooting
2- removing all extraneous processes in task manager
3- checked all "image-related" options in IE preferences

I do have SpyBot Search & Destroy 1.2, but couldn't figure out if this
was the problem or not.

Anyone's suggestions/comments would be tremendously appreciated.

Saban,

This may occur if your Temporary Internet pages cache is full.

In Internet Explorer,
Tools-menu
| Options |
/General\
"Temporary Internet Files" [Delete Files]

Hi Jan,

I also tried setting all IE internet zones to default, closed out of
IE, went back in and they icons still didn't show up. Deleting the
temp files cache in ie didn't work either. This also happens when I go
to Cnet...!! Can't seem to figure it out yet. Any further suggestions?

Thx.

Saban,

Perhaps the experts at
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/
Internet Technologies
Internet Explorer 6.0
could help, or maybe contact Yahoo.
