In response to 'Ramesh" I have tried all of those. All
boxes are already unchecked. It has to be something in
the original profile that did not come back in the
reinstall but works fine when I set up a new user. I
need to get original user or owner/administrator back to
sames settings as new user.

A reinstall of windows XP caused the original user
profile to have some setting issues. When that user
enters IE, the backgraound colors will not appear, all
white. Text is ok. When a new user was created, the IE
background color is ok all setting appear ok. Original
user was owner. How to I find what settings on original
user is bad and how do I replace.
