I recently tried to save a MS Word document to a disk and received the
following error message:
"You do not have access to the folder 'A:/'. See your administrator for
access to this folder."

This is my own personal computer. I have saved many documents in the past,
but now am getting this message. The only thing I can think of is that I
recently changed my internet service to Adelphia Cable and maybe when they
installed it they changed something. Can anybody help me?

Hi Mary,

I'm assuming this is a floppy drive that you're attempting to save to? Did
you try saving to several different disks? You might check to see if the
disk you were using had the write-protection tab moved to the ON position so
you couldn't write to the disk. Just flip the tab to the other position and
see if you have better luck.

Hope this helps.
