One of my computers doesn't boot up properly and simply gives a blue screen
saying something about Unable to mount drive. I have no idea how to resolve
this, any ideas from anyone would be a great help.

Regards

Hi Skip,

"Unable to mount drive" indicates that either the boot files are missing, or
that you have a physical problem with the drive. What were you last doing
with this machine? If you boot the WinXP CD and load the Recovery Console,
can you read the hard drive? If so, you may just need to run fixboot from
the command prompt. If not, you should download and run a drive diagnostic
utility from the hard drive manufacturer to check the state of the drive. Be
careful with these tools, as some of the tests can wipe out data currently
on the drive.
