Has anyone else had this happen:

Each time I open up I.E., I get the usual billion and a
half popups that are usuall only a real annoyance.
Lately, however, with some of these popups, I have found
that a program was downloaded (and sometimes installed)
onto my system. Also, when I find these programs and
uninstall them, I am unable to delete the folders that
were created when they were downloaded and/or installed.
I get the message: "Cannot delete (folder name): Acess
is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write
protected and that the file is not currently in use."
Does anyone have any info on why this may be happening
and/or how to stop it?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanx,

Rashid A. Battles/

This problem is may be due to spywares installed in your system. Run
anti-spywares tools to remove the spywares.

1. Ad-aware:

http://www.webattack.com/get/adaware.shtml

-or-

http://www.webattack.com/dlnow/dlnow.dll?Inc=No&ID=100156

-or-

www.lavasoftusa.com

Install the downloaded program and update the program and then run it to
erase the spyware programs from your system.

2. Spybot

You can download spybot from the URL given below:

http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10122137.html

You can also enable firewall in your system. Right-click on the modem or the
NIC card from the list of available connections and chose properties and
select the Advanced tab under this select the option under Internet
Connection Firewall (ICF) " protect this computer ........"
