I have been trying to upgrade to XP from ME. I keep
getting an error message at the end of the install that
reads: An error has been encountered that prevents set up
from continuing.
One of the components yjay Windows needs to continue set
up could not be installed.
The request could not be performed because of an I/O
device error.
Any suggestions as to what my problem might be?
Is my only alternative to scrub my HD and start fresh?
