View Full Version : Outlook misbehaves

I have XP Pro and Office 2002 SP2. Ouloook periodically
hangs up, (i.e 2-3 times a day) and I get pop-ups that
ask if an error report can be sent to Microsoft ( I
agree). I then shut-down and relaunch Outlook. When I
shut down at the end of the day, the shut-down routine
inevitably tells me that Outlook is not responding and I
must acknowledge that box for shut-down to continue (even
if it appeared to me that Outlook was operating normally
at the end of the day). Am I ever going to hear back
from Microsoft after allowing all these error reports to
be sent? Am I alone with this problem?

Steve,

You won't hear back from Microsoft about this problem, but send an error
report each time anyway. This happened with my new machine and Outlook
Express - it keep having problems and closing down. Then, one day about a
week ago, one of the Windows Updates I installed included many OE
files...could have been a coincidence...probably was....but since that time
I've had NO more problems.
