Dear,

My friend has a old computer (Pentium III, Dual CPU, 1GB
RAM, ...)

I run fdisk HDD(40GB) + format + install WinXP ...
everything is ok.

However, everytime Windows XP loading, computer is reboot.
There is not any error, any event happen at that time.

Summary, Windows loading & reboot computer.

I guess there are some troubles with hardware. Any idea ?

Thank you.

Is the computer overclocked at all? If yes, install XP using default
settings. Get it stable. Then explore the limits of the hardware. If not
overclocking, could be a hardware problem somewhere. Is Safe Mode available
at all? If yes, check Event Viewer while in this mode. If no info to be
found, use System Properties to turn off Error Reporting. This won't stop
the startup error but hopefully a STOP error with more info will show up.
