I have the operating system on a separte drive. Someone
tampered with my computer and tried to format one of my
drives but I canceled it part of the way through it. When
I restarted the computer it went through checking disk
space for errors. It said certain folders were removed.
When I got windows back up the folers were still there
but it says Drive H isn't formatted, Do you want to
format now? Is there anyway I can get these files back? I
am in desperate need of some of them.
Thanks a bunch

Do a Google search using unformat as the subject. There is software that
maybe able to help you.

I found a software to recover the data but for some
reason it isn't there. The drive was formatted then about
half way through it I canceled it. Everything was still
in tact when I restarted the computer. A couple days
later I had to restart it and it went through the disk
checking program and removed some folders. In the
unformat software it finds the folders but they are
empty. Could the data actually be on my C: Drive, Should
I try to recover the deleted files from there? I am
desperate to get these files back...
