How about you visit the newsgroups daily and and use the 'reply to group'
function to answer queries here.. your technical knowledge will then be
spread across a much broader audience than personal e-mails can afford..

How do you know you can help if you don't know what the problem is?? I'd
hate to spend teh time writing a long e-mail explaining my trouble just to
