Does any one know if Microsoft has a program in place to
replace damaged CD's. We were installing XP home into a
machine the other day, and during the install someone
picked up the computer and moved it. In the process the
disk was scratched to hell. Anyhow we will not be able to
ship the PC with the damaged disk.

Thanks,

Craig

If yours was a retail version, see

But if it was an OEM version, Microsoft won't support it and
you're probably out of luck. However it doesn't hurt to try
asking the OEM you bought it from if they can replace it.
