My problem is that my desktop icons disappear and my
computer freezes. It usually happens like this:
I log on my computer normaly and I go on the internet to
do things and use programs to do other things. I use
programs such as Word 97, winamp, windows media player
and notepad to do regular things. However, if stop doing
anything on the computer for about 15 mins and leave it,
when I come back all the icons in my desktop disappear
(including the start menu and taskbar) and the computer
freezes. All that remains is the background pic. Nothing
I do including CTRL+ALT+DELETE will bring it back to
life. Does anybody know what could be happening? I'd
greatly appreciate your assistance. This happens
