How do you change active windows to go full screen

already tried buttons in upper right hand corner no luck.
Also tried going to control and change sizes and did not
work. Any ideas????

Use the mouse cursor to stretch the edges so that it fills the screen.
Close all other windows for the same program.
Close the stretched window.
Windows should remember that.
