I get an message "The device driver for the 'NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with
AGP8X' device is preventing the machine from entering standby............"
every time I try to go into standby. I have updated the NVIDIA drivers. The
machine used to go into standby before I had to re-install Windows XP H9ome
edition. Same thing happens with Hibernate. Any ideas please?

Did you get those drivers from www.nvidia.com as their recommended ones
for XP? Or from Windows Update? If Windows Update, go to nVidia direct
instead
